Fragmentadas explores the beauty in fracture, layering, and quiet repair.
Each work is assembled from ceramic fragments, their seams and joins intentionally visible as traces of both rupture and reassembly. Made in stoneware and porcelain through a combination of hand-building and carving, the pieces embrace imperfection as a central design element. Surfaces invite touch, encouraging an intimate engagement with form and texture.
The series continues my investigation into tactility, transformation, and the ways in which objects can hold memory, echoing architectural ruins and the layered histories of place.
